Bangladesh National Cricket Team was the first team to get the status Test Playing nation in the 21st century. The team represents Bangladesh in all multilateral and bilateral series, tournaments, and matches validated by ICC. They played their first Test match against India. Though the match was not in favor of the national team and they lost it by 9 wickets. The match was organized at Bonogobondhu National Stadium, Dhaka and it lasted for 4 days.
