Willowmoore Park is a multi-purpose stadium located in Benoni, South Africa. The park was built in the year 1924 and is mostly used for hosting cricket matches. St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth was the previous sponsor of the venue. Though, after the withdrawal of sponsorship from St George’s Park, Willowmoore at present is being sponsored by Sahara. Thus, called “Sahara Willowmoore Park.” In Feb 1997, the first ODI was played at the venue and it was an India vs Zimbabwe match. The venue also hosted two matches during the 2003 Cricket World Cup. As of now, Willowmoore Park majorly hosts, ODIs and T20I matches.
