University Oval is a small but beautiful cricket ground where Rugby is also played. This ground is very much attractive with no floodlights but has a good pitch. So far only 8 Test Matches and 1 T20 International Match have been played at University Oval Ground.

University Oval is a multi-purpose sports ground in Logan park, Dunedin, New Zealand. The ground is owned and operated by Dunedin City Council and is used for hosting cricket matches and Rugby tournaments. Before the renovation, the University of Otago had ownership of the venue. Though, it was later transferred to the City Council in the early 2000s. The ground serves as the home ground to the Otago Cricket Association and the University of Otago Rugby Football Club. The first test match hosted at the University Oval was in the year 2008 between New Zealand and Bangladesh. The same opponents faced each other in the first ODI played at the venue. The University Oval ground also witnessed the game where the Umpire Decision Review System was first used.
