The Bridge Cricket ground is located in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, England. The ground majorly hosts international cricket matches. To date, multiple Tests, ODIs, and county cricket matches have been played on the ground. It was first used as a cricket ground in the 1830s. As per the reports, the first ever recorded cricket match was played in 1838, on an area of ground behind the Trent Bridge Inn. Speaking of the first test match hosted at the Bridge, it was nearly a century ago in 1899. The match was between England and Australia. The venue witnessed the ICC World Twenty20 semi-finals between South Africa and Pakistan in 2009 and similar other international matches in the later years.
