Rose Bowl is a cricket ground and hotel complex located in West End, Hampshire. The venue was built in 2001 to replace the County Ground in Southampton and the United Services Recreation Ground in Portsmouth. The first match hosted at the Rose Bowl was the inaugural first-class match of Hampshire against Worcestershire in 2001. The venue also serves as the home ground for the Hampshire County Cricket Club. Apart from hosting county cricket, the stadium also hosts international matches including Tests, ODIs, Champions Trophy, and Twenty20 Internationals. The first test match played at the Rose Bowl stadium was between England and Sri Lanka in 2011. The first ODI was in the year 2003 between South Africa and Zimbabwe.
