Sharjah Cricket Stadium is located in Sharjah city of the United States of Emirates. The stadium was built in 1982 and is currently owned by the Bukhatir Group. The stadium has hosted a number of ODIs, Tests, and T20I matches since the hosting of its first international match in the 1984 Asia Cup. The first test match of the Sharjah Stadium was played between Pakistan and West Indies in 2002. The first ODI was organized way back early in 1984 and the match was between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. As of the data till 2019, the ground holds the record for hosting most ODIs. In figures, a total of 240 ODI matches were hosted at the stadium till 2019. Also, for the 2021 ICC Men's TO World Cup, the Sharjah Stadium was one of the dedicated venues.
