Senwes Cricket Stadium is located in Potchefstroom, North West Province, South Africa. Previously, the stadium was called Sedgars Park but was later renamed Senwes Park due to the naming rights agreement of 2008. The stadium hosts international cricket matches including Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. Alongside cricket, the venue is also home to AFL South Africa and the South African national Australian rules football team, the Lions. The first international match played at the Senwes Stadium was in the year 2000 between South Africa and New Zealand. 2 years later, in 2002, the first Test match was hosted by the ground. The match was between South Africa and Bangladesh. The same opponents faced each other in the first T20I of Senwes Stadium in 2017.
