Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium is in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. Also known as Khandheri Cricket Stadium, it was established in 2008 and is famous as Gujarat’s first solar-powered stadium. In the initial years after the construction, the venue was majorly used for hosting Ranji Trophy matches. Though, in 2013, the stadium witnessed its first international match which was an ODI match between India and England. The same year, the first T20I was played at the stadium between India and Australia. Later in 2016, the ODI opponents i.e., India and England faced each other in the first-ever Test match hosted by the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium.
