One of the best and most beautiful cricket grounds in Sri Lanka, That's Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. This Pallekele Cricket Ground is having Floodlights, so we can have day and night cricket matches as well. So far, 65 international matches have been played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.  Out of 65 Matches, 9 Test matches, 33 One day internationals, and 23 T20 Matches have been played on this Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

Pallekele International Cricket Stadium is located in Kandy city of Sri Lanka. The stadium was established in the year 2009 and is currently owned by Sri Lanka Cricket. In 2010, Pallekele was granted Test cricket status by ICC and thus became the 104th Test venue in the world. The purpose of constructing Pallekele Stadium was to host the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Before the World Cup, in 2010, the ground hosted its first Test match which was between West Indies and Sri Lanka. Later in the next year, the first ODI was played at the venue in 2011 between Pakistan and New Zealand.
