McLean Park, Napier

McLean Park Cricket Ground is having a 22,500 capacity at one time and it is used by Cricket Teams and rugby unions as well. This cricket ground is one of the biggest ones in New Zealand. 

McLean Park is a sports ground of international standards which includes the main outdoor stadium and the indoor Rodney Green Centennial Events Centre. The home teams for this ground are the Hawke's Bay Rugby Union and Central Districts Cricket Association. The two ends of the stadium are named the Centennial Stand End and Embankment End. Its close proximity to the International Date Line makes it the world's easternmost Test match ground. 

McLean Park is a multi-purpose sports ground in Napier, New Zealand. Mainly, the venue hosts cricket and rugby union matches on the ground. Owned and operated by Napier City Council, the ground was established in the year 1911. The venue was built on international standards and is one of the largest cricket grounds in New Zealand. The first test match played on the ground of McLean Park was in 1979 between New Zealand and Pakistan. 3 years later, the stadium hosted its first ODI as well in 1982. In the match, New Zealand had the Sri Lankan team as the opponent. New Zealand won the match by 7 wickets.
