Manuka Oval is a sports ground located in Canberra, Australia. Because of being situated in the area of Griffith Suburb, called Manuka, the venue was named Manuka Oval. The area was used for sporting events from the early 20th century but it was in the year 1929 that the venue was completely enclosed for sporting purposes. The ground majorly hosts Cricket matches and Australian rules football tournaments. In 1992, the ground witnessed its first ODI and the match was between South Africa and Zimbabwe. The first and only Test match hosted by the stadium was in 2019 between Australia and Sri Lanka. Manuka Oval also served as a venue for the 1992 and 2015 World Cups.
