There was a need for a multi-purpose stadium in Dubai for a long. After respecting people's demands, Dubai Properties have established International Cricket Stadium in Dubai in 2009. The Dubai International Cricket Stadium also known as Dubai Sports City Cricket Stadium has a capacity of 25,000 audiences at once.13 Test Matches, 45 ODIs, and 85 T20 International Matches have been played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Dubai International Stadium is a multi-purpose sports stadium located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Inaugurated in 2009, the venue is majorly used for hosting cricket matches and is one of the largest stadiums in Dubai. Dubai Properties owns the stadium and Dubai Sports City currently operates it. The first international match hosted at the stadium was an ODI between Pakistan and Australia in 2009. Later the following year in 2010, the first Test match was played at the venue which was between Pakistan and South Africa. Dubai International Stadium was also one of the dedicated venues for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
