County Cricket Ground is a cricket ground located in Hove, East Sussex, England. Due to sponsorship reasons, the ground stadium is also called The 1st central County Ground. Since the establishment of the venue in 1872, it has been used as a home ground to the Sussex County Cricket Club. Thus, a number of county cricket matches have been organized at the stadium. In 1999, the first and only ODI was played at the County ground as a part of the 1999 Cricket World Cup. It was an India vs South Africa match. In the later years, the ground was used for hosting Women’s Tests and ODIs games.
