County Cricket Ground is located in Derby, England. Due to sponsorship reasons, the ground was also called Racecourse Ground and is currently known as Ancora County Ground. The venue was established in the year 1863 and was first used for playing cricket by Derbyshire Cricket Club in the same year of its inauguration. Since 1871, the ground has also been the home to the Derbyshire County Cricket Club. Almost a century later, County Ground hosted its first ODI match in 1983 which was between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. The second ODI witnessed by the venue was in the year 1999. The match was the 1999 ICC Cricket World in which New Zealand and Pakistan were opponents.
