Barsapara Cricket Stadium is a cricket stadium located in the Barsapara locality of Guwahati, Assam. The stadium is also known as Assam Cricket Association Stadium and Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Cricket Stadium. It has been 10 years since the establishment of the Barsapara cricket ground in 2012. Thus, it is regarded as India’s 49th international cricket venue. The first test match was played on October 21, 2018, between India and West Indies. While the first T20I hosted on the ground of Barsapara was on October 10, 2017. No ODI has been played on the stadium to date. Owing to the seating capacity of the stadium, it is the largest sports stadium in Northeast India.
