Allan Border Field is a cricket ground located in Brisbane, Albion, Queensland, Australia. The ground was formerly called Neuman Oval after the Valley's club captain and Queensland and Australian representative footballer, Fred "Firpo" Neumann. Later, it was named Allan Border, in the honor of the former Australian cricket captain as Queensland Cricket purchased the ground. Since 2004, the venue has been used as a base for developing elite cricketers under the Australian Cricket Academy. Additionally, Queensland Bull uses the venue as a training facility for their games. The same is done by the Australian Cricket Team. In 1999, the first ODI between the Australian and South African women's teams was played.
