In international women's cricket, New Zealand is represented by the White Ferns, a women's national cricket team of New Zealand. The team is organized by New Zealand Cricket, a full member of the International Cricket Council, and is one of eight teams competing in the ICC Women's Championship, the highest level of international women's cricket. As the third team to compete at that level, New Zealand made its Test debut in 1935 against England. New Zealand is one of only three teams to have competed in all 10 Women's Cricket World Cups, together with Australia and England. Four times the team has advanced to the tournament's final, winning in 2000 and finishing second in 1993, 1997, and 2009. The team's current ranking in WODI is 5th and WT20I is 3rd.
