Fortune Barishal is a franchise cricket team that competes in the Bangladesh Premier League on behalf of the nation's Barishal Division. The team was one of the six continuing members of the BPL after the 2015 competition and took part in the league's 2016 season. The Barisal Burners, often shortened as BB, were the team's original name when it was founded in 2012 for the first BPL season. In 2012, The Burners finished second in the BPL. One of the teams that were eliminated in 2013 following the second BPL season was the Burners. The Bulls were the new name of the team for the 2015 season after the franchise was purchased by Axiom Technologies. Due to financial difficulties, the team was eliminated from BPL 5. Though, the Barisals made their comeback in the 2021-2022 BPL season. As of now, the team has not won any BPL seasons.
