In international women's cricket, England and Wales are represented by the team England women’s cricket team. The team was formerly regulated by the Women's Cricket Association, but the England and Wales Cricket Board has been in charge of the national squad since 1998. The team was made a full member of the ICC in 1909. Heather Knight serves as the current captain, and Jon Lewis is the coach. In 1934, the team participated in the first-ever Women's Test match. England's national cricket team also participated in the 1973 Women's Cricket World Cup which marked their victory. Since then, the team has won the championship three more times. The team's current ranking in WODI is 3rd and  2nd in WT20I.
