The Dhaka Dominators is a franchise cricket team that represents the nation's capital city, Dhaka in the Bangladesh Premier League. The Dhaka Gladiators were the team's initial moniker when it was founded in 2012 for the first BPL season, and they were the tournament's winners in both 2012 and 2013. One of the teams that was disbanded following the second tournament was The Gladiators. After being sold to BEXIMCO Group, the franchise changed its name to Dhaka Dynamites. The team was led by Kumar Sangakkara and was coached by former South African cricketer, Mickey Arthur for the 2015 BPL season. In the 2016 season as well, the team marked its victory. The ownership of team is currently with Jamuna Bank since 2019.
